Album Notes for
IF WE COULD FALL IN LOVE AGAIN
On this project, Rick and Jos were joined by some of their favorite musicians, who also just happen to be some of their favorite people!
David Chamberlain, one of the finest bass players on the planet who has worked with Glenn Frey, Manhattan Transfer, Bruce Willis, Pointer Sisters, Lyle Lovett, Joe Cocker, Diane Warren, Comfort Zone, etc., etc., not only played soulful bass, but also applied his creative gifts to co-producing this album.
Rich Diamond, a terrific drummer who has worked as a session drummer, as well as with various LA-based groups including the platinum-selling Brothers Johnson, gave his whole heart along with his first-rate musical ability to the project.
JT Thomas, renowned keyboardist and member of Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers for over 20 years, contributed outstanding organ and accordion to the mix. We recorded the tracks for this record at Johnny’s Room, JT’s studio in Los Angeles.
David Vidal, an exceptional singer/songwriter/player, graciously offered tasteful slide guitar licks to a number of the tracks.
Ruby Jane Smith, the seventeen-year old fiddle phenom from Austin, TX, brought her own delightful brand of artistry to the project.
Tripp Beam, a talented young drummer, recently relocated to LA straight out of Nashville, supplied superb percussive adds throughout the music.
